Bring a sealed session home

Drop a session bundle — the whole export folder, or its files (journal CSV, summary, session, SHA256SUMS.txt, track). Files are read on this device only. A bundle whose seal check fails is refused whole, in the open.

Filters

Filters apply to the map, the device list, and Seen Again. Counts on set cards are always the full recount of that set.

Observation sets

Observation map

Regional view · local coordinates

A device plots at its emitter estimate when the journal carries one; otherwise at the observer's position when that device was heard strongest — a hearing mark, not a location fix. Sets with no coordinates recorded never appear on the map.

Devices

Seen again

The fleet-footprint question: devices — same protocol and address — heard in two or more imported sessions, or on two or more distinct days. Computed locally from the sets in this desk; every row names the sessions it traces to.

About this data

Scope reads the RF Detector's sealed session exports and shows what they publish — nothing is invented here. Every count is recounted from the journal rows at import; where the bundle's summary file claims a figure, the claim prints beside the recount and a disagreement shows in red, never silently resolved. Seal status comes from the bundle's own SHA256SUMS.txt, checked byte by byte on this device (compressed .gz companions are listed but not byte-verifiable in this lane, and say so). A bundle's quarantine.csv is the Detector's own rejected-rows ledger: seal-verified with the bundle, never recounted as observations.

Categories and vendors come from a small local starter table — BLE company ids declared in the devices' own payloads first, MAC OUI second. What the table doesn't know prints unknown. A randomized address (locally administered bit set) cannot yield a vendor, and the card says that instead of guessing.

Imported sets live only in this browser's local store (IndexedDB, with an in-memory fallback). The raw files are not kept — only the recounts, device tables, and plot points derived from them. Nothing is uploaded anywhere; this page's content policy forbids network calls outright (connect-src 'none'). Map tiles, when the street view is on, load as images from OpenStreetMap — turn on Local grid and the page needs no network at all.
